De plus, le filetage coup\u00e9 interrompt la structure granulaire naturelle de la barre ronde tandis que le filetage roul\u00e9 la reforme. On pourrait encore affirmer que le fait de couper dans le sens du grain d'une barre ronde lors du filetage coup\u00e9 peut produire des filets qui ont une int\u00e9grit\u00e9 structurelle moindre qu'une pi\u00e8ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 filet\u00e9e par roulage.<\/p>\n
